D.E.C('entralize), a digital island located in the middle of Tokyo's waterway, is the first expo space (with its 18 floored towers in the middle, public spaces, 12 exhibition units with five artist slots each, an open concert hall in front of the tower's square, and Chrome Garden below the private area)whose aim is to collaborate with artist friends of decentralize and use it as a temporary exhibition space that glorifies art + design + friendship. While most of the rooms will be curated by decentralize, a small number of the exhibition areas will be on sale. The facility was designed in Digital Forgery Workshop with the religious robotics approach, which promotes the lack of gravity, contours as volume perception, and chrome.

The 46-meter height and 2-by-2 plot dimensions might spark well with two distinct functional levels. Even though the ground floor was open to the public, the egg cracks floating overhead were thought of as private areas. However, the goal from the start was to arrive at a spatial scheme that was unreasonable yet, elegant, like a crayon drawing of a kid.
In a galaxy where chickens are so enormous and dominative, It would be fun to dream of a tree out of their broken eggs where people are occupying the ruins like a smirking dystopia. The form's primal origins in the upper floor spaces and their interpretation in the raw material choice can only be a metaverse-level experience as if the cracks are data centers for chickens. Further, the ground floor features elements of the desired spatial narrative, such as transforming the egg's capillaries into the stage and seating area or the entrance tunnel's passage by piercing through a snowdrift.
In this absurdity, the spontaneous journey of designing lets the users meet a very calm and neat outcome without losing the primitiveness of both the main form and the interiors, with a little pinch of technological sense of space. The process of symphonizing all the wrong and ridiculous ideas by undressing them to the zero point is where they become convincing in a non-architectural way.

"Excellent music can be heard in the streets where the musician and the listeners can meet on equal terms, without any higher platform. Another example is a rock or rap concert, where the stage is elevated, and the audience stands on the ground. Or, similar to an airport terminal, a symphony hall's entrances and exits are separated for each part like a labyrinth, and each spot has a different performative income. I've been to Milan's La Scala several times, and each visit has been unique. Of course, it's a wonderful thing that an edifice may have such a fragmented plan and experience, but I was hoping to uncover something more simple, like a 0 and a 1.
I can now say that I have arranged all of my ideas quickly after so much thinking. There are unavoidably spatial-political elements at play here, such as a front row, a balcony, or two separate entrances and artist entrances; nonetheless, these are entirely architectural references and not intended to convey any kind of hierarchical order. These parameters prompted me to design a semi-transparent structure (like a street; perhaps you can enjoy more while passing through it). Like most landmarks, it is unattached to the context and has an easily recognizable form, as a naked structure with almost non-materiality, but for me, its fully open public use intention is what makes it flirty. This headquarters was theorized as a villain-like spatial projection of the antithesis of Tadao Ando's Church of Light. This land, created by a black vertical pyramid blended with gothic pillars, is useful for gatherings or presentations thanks to its central layout and capacity to serve as a functional corridor between walls and superfine pipes. Prism's postmodern Italian geometry, with entrances at each corner, strikes a paradoxical harmony with the structure's uniqueness and the materials chosen for the whole.

Poddio Verticale is a transformation of an open building into a vertical podium for a fashion runway show with a ramp looping around its semi-transparent marble skin, and slabs hooked up to the ramp. Its material touches, precise sharp geometry, the main scheme as a patio, and solid-void proportions give the impression that an abstract Milanese edifice has been exported to the metaverse.
The ramp allows the audience to see the wearables in 4D during the fashion show and defines the spaces it is attached to. These slabs can operate as both the observation deck for the catwalk as well as the pausing places of an open, voluminous, bright, and flexible architecture that enables a variety of functions, including office, gallery, or leisure. The layout, rationalized with abstract glass-like columns and sculpted under transparent marble as a patio, has seating areas on the ground floor that can host a gathering as well as the fashion show's final walk destination, and a small area in the back that can be used as a cloakroom, retail space, or a tiny aperitivo room.

Derived from Poddio Verticale, Poddio Dark Twisted Verticale is a transformation of an open building into a twisted vertical podium for a fashion runway show. Its dark materials, funky geometry, the main scheme as a patio, and playful ramps with random subspaces create a futuro-dystopic scene flamed by sentiments of romance and sorrow that harvests an impulse of assembling a futuristic fashion house that breathes in the deepest layers of Decentraland.
In Poddio Dark Twisted Verticale, which consists of a 40-meter deformed cube, an aggressively swerving ramp around its semi-transparent black marble skin, and slabs hooked up to the ramp; the clean spatial qualities of Poddio Verticale are manipulated, hypnotized, or hypostatized by the impulse of assembling a futuristic fashion house that breathes in the deepest layers of Decentraland.
The ad-lib ramp allows the audience to see the wearables from non-calculated perspectives during the fashion show. The slabs attached to it can operate as both the observation deck for the catwalk as well as the pausing places of an open, spacious, gloomy, and dynamic design concept that is suitable for a spectrum of purposes, including office and leisure. The dialogue between ambiguous curvy polysurfaces, cooked with the flavors of abstract glass-like columns and opacity-manipulated marble textured amorphism, transforms into the seating areas on the ground floor that can host a gathering as well as the fashion show's final walk destination, and a small area in the back that can be used as a cloakroom, retail space, or a tiny aperitivo room.

The Moca Space Time Rooms are a collection of conceptual rooms that transgress and spatially deconstruct the bounds of the traditional "room" (a box with four walls, a floor, and a roof) paradigm.
In a tone inspired by space-time relativity that bends with the mass/gravity of artworks, paper-light floors produce components that flex and flow into each other. Even though they are based on historical/traditional "room" characteristics, these elements, with their flexibility, define the utility of a new experimental form beyond just being a wall, ceiling, or floor. A complicated system developed from a single, rich component and supported by further additions results in an abstract vertical floor with a variety of rooms.

Incorporating similar aesthetical sources from several timezones, Digital Forgery Workshop re-meditated mid-scaled religious typologies from the Renaissance using today's perception and technology. A nebulous chapel in a virtual parallel universe's past, or inside a Matisse painting, or kneaded with physicality as fluid as Dali, AI-painted with Caravaggio or Da Vinci interpretations of the metaverse. Like the Sistine Chapel in Ronchamp form, the machinated ceiling covers a wavy interior for gatherings, concerts, or as a conceptual exhibition space.

Matsuoka Hills Mansion reflects the playful energy and inspiration of late 21st-century architecture with its simple yet muscular language. A digital aesthetic study produced the relationships between the materials and shapes, the ground's central topography, and its relationship to the building's three-layered geometry. Three specially created digital works of art, a sculpture, and three copies of an exclusive designer chair are all shown on the main level. The space is divided into several free-plan sub-spaces on the ground level, which rises in the middle like a hill, and each is given a specific purpose, such as the entryway, conference/gathering area, library/archive, and living room. The users could access the upper floor by ascending the three-tiered ladder designed to look like a skeleton.
Matsuoka Hills Mansion is an uncommon but stimulating combination of domestic elements in a museum-like layout, with its open yet curvy form, which questions how a mansion should create privacy borders in open virtual habitats.
This design is exhibited at Art Basel Miami 2023, besides K-Dociine HQ, Matisse Time Chaipel, and Armageddon Seat, thanks to Metamundo.

The masterpiece. Their recreation of "Beyond the Infinity" within a plot of 8 by 8 meters, using fewer than 10,000 meshes, is a testament to the precision and artistry of Kubrick's timeless brilliance. This remake is particularly unique for DFW, as the source material holds great significance and a special place in the collective consciousness. The selected scene is a thought-provoking and minimalist craft with static shots and a smooth set design, while its human-centered scale is a perfect fit for the 8x8 Decentraland plot. DFW's reimagining this classic moment will indeed engage and enthrall audiences in a new way as we continue to explore the limitless potential of the metaverse.

Neue² Dojo is 26th of digital topographies, designed between 21.12.2023 to 24.12.2023. In Neue² Dojo, 340 artworks made by decentralize* from 2017 until now are curated and exhibited in a museum form. Each room or corridor has its context of aesthetics and time, carefully designed to create a meaningful promenade scenario. Categories like digital art, digital painting, physical painting, crypto art, and photography could be experienced virtually over a manipulated surface.
The scheme of the interior as the interval of spatial experience is derived from Mies Van Der Rohe’s Neue National Gallery and manipulated in a more topographic outcome. The 1st floor is a spatial sculpture with an artificial sky and concrete hill, inspired by James Turrell and Coachella and inverted as it belongs to Mies' virtual reality.
decentralize* has created more than 1000 works in the last 6 years, and his wish to showcase them in a virtual space pushed the energy to life and this design experience has come to life. Besides being a retrospective of decentralize*, the main fuel to create this gallery was to make this museum blossom through a community of thinkers who execute in the same passion. This mantra might lead to the decentralization of Neue Dojo, through any open-source contribution.

Retail in the metaverse bridges the gap between fashion and daily life, offering a unique platform for connection and innovation. The concept of retail extends beyond mere transactions; it serves as a vital link that introduces individuals to new cultures and innovations through fashion. As the digital and physical realms converge, especially in the metaverse, this connection evolves, presenting untapped potential for immersive brand experiences. The challenge lies in reimagining retail in a space where traditional physical interactions are absent, yet the opportunity to engage and educate remains paramount.
